“The truth makes the world go round” – this is the mantra for Soichi Shindo, a 15-year veteran reporter in the social affairs department of a public broadcasting company. When he is recruited as a news anchor by a commercial TV station suffering from low viewership ratings, he vows to stop at nothing in pursuit of the truth. Flaunting company rules, he sweeps everyone around him into his charismatic style of interviews and investigations. But can he uncover deeply-buried truths, and expose the evil around him?
