biography

Grace Eaton (they/them) is a queer filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. As of April 2025, they have completed three short experimental documentaries and are a recent graduate from UofT's Cinema Studies HBA program. Their most recent film, "Is This the Right Place for Us?" (2025), is a community-based project set in their hometown and filmed at their local elementary school. In addition to filmmaking, Grace is a writer and visual artist. Much of their work touches on themes of queerness, class, family, mental health, and disability. They believe that art is a catalyst in creating change.
